Saturday July 20th

Cheapest Way to Get to Auburn
What: The Tevis Cup - A 24-hour trail ride
Where: From Squaw Valley to Auburn
When: Saturday, June 23rd; 3pm-10pm

Think your horse can handle a 100-mile trail ride? Seems pretty crazy, but last year's event had 98 finishers! The journey starts at the Robie Equestrian Park, south of Truckee and travels through the Sierras and across old mining trails before ending 24 hours later and 100 miles away in Auburn, CA. Everything you need to know about the event can be found HERE.

Reason to go: You’re craving a pilsner at the Auburn Brewery but you don’t have enough cash for a beer and gas money.
Reason no to go: You don’t have a horse. Go watch The Incredibles at California 89's outdoor theatre; get there by 8:30pm for a good seat on the grass.
