What: Adventure Film Series - "Tell it on the Mountain"

"Tell it on the Mountain" - Follow a half dozen of the 300 or so hikers who attempt a Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike every year. Armed with cameras, they give us an insider’s view into what it takes to spend half a year living in the wild. Featured in the film is Truckee Local Scott Williamson, 7 time PCT Thru-hiker. Over the course of its 2,663 miles, it passes through 33 designated wilderness areas, 24 national forests, 7 national and 6 state parks.
Reason to go: It's a fascinating peek into the lives of the hundreds of hikers who walk through our backyard each summer.
Reason not to go: The Keyser Soze free CD release party at Crystal Bay Club; 9pm.
Saturday June 29th
Best Way to "Lively Up Yourself"
What: PURE Summer Tune Up featuring Mykal Rose, Prezident Brown, and Reggae Angels
Where: Truckee Amphitheater
When: Saturday, June 23rd; 3pm-10pm
This all-day reggae festival is a great way to kick back on a Saturday. All ages are welcome, and there will be a kids zone, an international food court, art & craft venders, and cold beer. Tickets available at New Moon in Truckee & Tahoe City and online at brownpapertickets.com. $25 in advance; $30 at the door. Kids under 18 are free with an adult.
Reason to go: Jah mon, it’s Truckee’s version of Reggae on the River.
Reason not to go: You’re taking the fam up to the Saturday Night BBQ at the Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center, featuring wagon rides, games, arts & crafts, horseshoes, an a big ol’ dinner. Reservations required. Click here for details.

What: Beth Weber Arts & Crafts Fair
Where: Kings Beach State Recreation Area
When: Sunday, June 30th; 10am
Enjoy food, drinks, the local shops, and of course, a beautiful afternoon outside in North Lake Tahoe while browsing the work of some of Tahoe’s finest artists.
